SSM Rehabilitation Hospital offers specialized rehabilitation and medical care through the Center for Neurological Recovery for individuals with:
- Stroke
- A variety of complications of stroke, including spasticity, bladder dysfunction, nutritional issues, gait impairment and cognitive deficit
- Other neurological conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Guillain Barre syndrome
The program is designed to help individuals achieve maximum neurological recovery after stroke and other neurological disorders. Care is focused on restoring function and getting every patient back to their life and the things they enjoy.
Referral and Admission
Patients can be referred to the Center for Neurological Recovery by a physician. All patients meet with and are assessed by an intake coordinator to discuss the program, address questions, and determine appropriateness of admission.
