SSM Physical Therapy offers a wide array of outpatient services at multiple
locations throughout the St. Louis area. Our outpatient services range from specific,
single therapy services, such as physical therapy for back pain or a sports injury, to
comprehensive day-long therapy programs as part of our Day Institute Program. SSM Physical Therapy
also offers home health services through SSM Home Care, which allow patients to receive therapy services at home.
The goal of rehabilitation for each patient is to achieve a better quality of life, independence, comfort,
and maximum mobility.
Licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists provide individualized assessment
and treatment based on each patient's condition or medical concern. Medical management is provided by the
patient's personal physician or by a physiatrist, a physician specializing in physical medicine and
rehabilitation.
